Our graduates and interns can choose from the following technology disciplines:
In Technology, Engineering is at the core of what we do. We see engineers as anyone involved in any part of the technology lifecycle – from designing to building and maintaining a system. Our engineers can be developers or code writers, but they’re also people who specialise in architecture, UI design, testing, business analysis and production support. Our engineers operate in a collaborative environment where they are empowered to continuously learn and become masters in their craft.
Rotations could include Software Engineer, Cloud and Platform Engineer, UX/UI Designer, Infrastructure Engineer, .NET Developer and Full-stack Developer.
Data is the foundation of how we deliver our digital outcomes and experiences. In a data analysis role, you’ll help identify new opportunities for our business, automate processes and enable business growth.
Rotations could include Data Engineer, Data Analyst, Data Scientist, Data Governance Analyst, Records Management Analyst and Regulatory Reporting Analyst.
Our Cyber Security teams work in a highly dynamic environment, in which they continually evolve our technology and processes to keep pace with a shifting threat landscape. People who thrive in this space have a curious and critical mind and think of creative ways to solve complex problems.
Rotations could include Cyber Security Analyst and Security Engineer.
Business Analysis is the practice of enabling change in Macquarie by defining needs and recommending solutions that deliver value to our stakeholders. It is about using a specific set of tools to uncover and analyse potential opportunities to drive business value.
Rotations could include Functional Business Analyst, Technical Business Analyst and Support Analyst.
In Project Management, you’ll help define project goals, communicate with stakeholders and manage a project through to its closure. Whether running a marketing campaign, developing a computer system, or launching a new product, the project manager is responsible for the success or failure of the project.
The primary graduate role in this discipline is Project Coordinator.
Design is an essential component of every technology project. As a designer, you’ll use problem-solving and human-centred design processes to develop new products, services and experiences.
Rotations could include Experience Designer (Human-centred Design), Product Designer (UX/UI Design) and Learning Experience Designer.
Working in these disciplines, you could sit within one of our core or business-aligned tech teams:
