Macquarie Asset Management today announced the appointment of Ben Taylor as a Managing Director within the Client Solutions Group focusing on investor relations, product development and capital raising for its private credit business in the Americas. This senior hire supports the asset manager’s continued growth in the private credit market in the region and with Ben’s addition, the Private Credit team boasts a deep bench of over 65 origination, execution, portfolio monitoring and client service professionals.
Based in New York, Ben brings more than a decade of alternative investment and institutional private credit markets experience to the role. He rejoins Macquarie Asset Management from Audax Private Debt, where he oversaw the insurance solutions efforts across the company’s private debt platform and expanded investor relationships on a global basis. Before Audax Private Debt, Ben served as a Managing Director at Pinnacle Trust Partners, where he launched and raised capital for new private credit strategies with a focus on insurance-oriented investment solutions.

Ben’s addition to the Credit team comes on the heels of Vivek Bommi joining as Head of Leveraged Credit, one of the three offerings of the firm’s Credit platform capabilities, along with Fixed Income and Private Credit. Macquarie Asset Management’s Credit platform has over $US200 billion of assets under management globally1 and offers clients a single point of entry to new strategies, products, separate accounts, insurance solutions and access to the private wealth channel. The Credit platform is supported by Macquarie’s deep-rooted infrastructure and renewables sector expertise and global experience across the credit markets.
