Macquarie Capital strengthens leveraged finance effort with senior appointment

Macquarie Capital, the corporate advisory, capital markets and principal investment arm of Macquarie Group, today announced the appointment of Adam Hoffman as a Managing Director in its leveraged finance business. Based in New York, Mr. Hoffman will report to Andy Stock, Co-Head of Sales and Trading, Americas at Macquarie Capital.

MIRA and Goldman Sachs Managed Infrastructure Funds to acquire HES International

Macquarie European Infrastructure Fund 5, which is managed by Macquarie Infrastructure and Real Assets (MIRA), and West Street Infrastructure Partners III (WSIP), which is managed by the Merchant Banking Division of Goldman Sachs (the “Consortium”), have jointly entered into an agreement to acquire HES International B.V. (“HES” or the “Company”) from Riverstone Holdings LLC and The Carlyle Group.
