Macquarie Group Foundation
In April 2020, we announced that Macquarie Group allocated $A20 million to the Macquarie Group Foundation to support a select number of non-profit organisations working to combat COVID-19 and provide relief to affected communities. The fund will focus on recipients addressing areas of immediate and medium term need in regions in which Macquarie operates.
To date we have allocated $A18m through 39 grants around the world. $A2m has been allocated to two Australian research projects and $A7.1m has been allocated across 27 non-profits internationally that are focused on direct relief efforts.
We have also allocated $A8.9m to ten organisations that are supporting workers and businesses in restarting economic activity.

Macquarie Group is allocating $A20 million in charitable donations to the Foundation to support a select number of non-profit organisations working to combat COVID-19 and provide relief to affected communities.
The Foundation provided a $A1 million emergency grants fund to make immediate cash available for non-profits with significant staff involvement.
Please note the Foundation is not accepting unsolicited applications for this non-profit funding at this time. We are consulting with sector experts, other funders and leveraging the expertise of Macquarie staff to identify a shortlist of organisations which meet our criteria.
The Macquarie Group Foundation is the philanthropic arm of Macquarie Group. The Foundation provides support to hundreds of community organisations globally each year through financial support, volunteering and skills sharing.
