Founded in 2012, Harry’s is a scaled and vertically integrated consumer packaged goods (CPG) platform of four brands across the shaving, personal care and pet categories.
Harry’s is a market leader in men’s and women’s wet shave with more than two million active Harry’s.com subscribers, and has retail partnerships with Target, Walmart, Costco, Amazon and other strategic retailers.
Approach
Macquarie Capital led Harry’s $US155 million Series E funding round with Bain Capital.
Macquarie Capital’s investment was backed by strong belief in Harry’s as a disruptive CPG brand with a differentiated value proposition and unique omnichannel distribution and demonstrated success in product and geographic expansion.
Outcome
Macquarie underwrote, structured and anchored the $US155 million raise, which currently values Harry’s at $US1.7 billion1.
The fresh capital allows Harry’s to add more brands to its portfolio, which currently consists of Harry’s women’s razor and body care brand Flamingo, pet brand Cat Person and hair brand Headquarters. Through increased access to capital, Harry’s is well-positioned for continued market and geographic
