Macquarie Capital, the corporate advisory, principal investing and capital markets arm of Macquarie Group (“Macquarie”) (ASX: MQG; ADR: MQBKY), today announced the appointment of Peter Davis as a Managing Director in its U.S. Financial Institutions Group, responsible for leading the firm’s coverage of the Financial Technology sector.
Mr. Davis brings more than a decade of investment banking experience with a specific focus on financial technology clients. He joins Macquarie Capital after seven years at Lehman Brothers and Barclays Capital, where he served as Managing Director. Prior to Lehman and Barclays, Mr. Davis had worked at Banc of America Securities in its Financial Institutions Group.

Mr. Davis received his MBA from New York University, where he graduated with the Stern Scholar designation and as an inductee into Beta Gamma Sigma, and a BS in Finance from Arizona State University.
