Macquarie Group Collection
The Macquarie Group Collection has been supporting emerging Australian artists for more than thirty years. The Collection's annual Emerging Artist Prize and exhibition is usually held in Sydney, offering support to a new generation of Australian visual artists. Artists are invited to enter an original work(s) that reflect the Macquarie Group Collection theme, The Land and its Psyche.
We acknowledge the traditional custodians of the land and we pay our respect to Australia’s First Nations elders past and present.
The 2021 Macquarie Group Emerging Artist Prize is now open for submissions. Eligible artists can enter up to five original works. Works in any medium are acceptable, except for ephemeral art. There is no entry fee.
Finalists will feature in the 2021 Macquarie Group Emerging Artist Prize exhibition, with 100 per cent of proceeds from the sale of all work(s) going directly to the artist.
The First Prize winner will receive $A20,000 prize money and a three month residency on-site. Each finalist receives a $A1,000 art transport voucher from International Art Services and a $A500 Participation Prize.
