Macquarie International Infrastructure Fund Limited (MIIF)

Overview

Macquarie International Infrastructure Fund Limited (“MIIF”) was a SGX-ST listed company established in 2005 to make investments in infrastructure businesses.

In October 2012, the board of directors of MIIF announced a strategic review to consider a range of alternatives focussed on generating value for the shareholders of MIIF (“Shareholders”). The strategic review was completed on 18 December 2012 and resulted in the decision to pursue the orderly divestment of MIIF’s interests in Taiwan Broad Communications, Hua Nan Expressway and Changshu Xinghua Port and Miaoli Wind (“MIIF Initiatives”) in order to maximise value for shareholders.

In July 2015, Shareholders voted to approve the divestment of Hua Nan Expressway, the sole remaining investment in MIIF’s portfolio at that time. This completed MIIF’s divestments and led to the wind up of MIIF and its subsequent delisting from the SGX-ST.

MIIF was delisted from the main board of the Singapore Stock Exchange on 26 October 2015.
