About
The Macquarie Group Foundation drives social impact for Macquarie Group and engagement with our people is at the heart of everything we do. Through two signature programs, Macquarie Gives and Future Ready, we work together to help build a better future.
Macquarie Gives encourages our employees to donate their time, money and skills to the causes that matter to them. We do this by offering a range of benefits and initiatives, including donation and fundraising matching, volunteer opportunities, and support for board service, because we know that together we can make a greater contribution to our community.
Gaelyn Jacobson, from our Banking and Financial Services business, began supporting the Cure Brain Cancer Foundation after the charity supported her friend through his cancer treatment. The Foundation matched Gaelyn’s fundraising efforts, doubling her impact and contributing over $A225,000 to the National Advocacy Service program, which provides tailored assistance to patients, families and carers.
Future Ready supports people on their path to employment. We provide funding to organisations that help people overcome the barriers they face to employment and a better future. Our employees also contribute their time, money and skills to further strengthen our impact.
