Shankar is a first line risk manager and leads Macquarie’s Technology Risk Management team for the retail businesses covering personal banking, business banking, wealth and asset finance.

“I joined Macquarie as an Information Technology Auditor in the Risk Management Group, later becoming the Head of Information Technology Audit. I spent 13 years in Internal Audit in various Head of Audit roles including the Head of Audit for Australia and New Zealand. In August this year, I moved into first line risk as the Global Head of Technology Risk.”
