T-REX drives transparency and efficiency across the investment lifecycle of complex assets
Founded in: 2012
Headquarters: New York, New York
In the post-financial crisis world, illiquid assets are in high demand but under intense scrutiny. Despite the hefty yield potential of these complex assets, lack of transparency and inefficient workflow prevent many investors from pricing risk accurately and deploying capital. T-REX was built to address the challenges that these markets face and create opportunities across the most complex asset classes.
T-REX, a participating company in the Macquarie Capital Venture Studio, is a leading provider of managed data services and analytical software for complex markets, with a primary focus on structured and project finance. A full investment lifecycle solution, T-REX combines sophisticated SaaS technology with big data and asset class expertise to drive down the cost of capital and reduce risk exposure for renewable energy and other esoteric asset classes. By empowering efficient, transparent finance in these markets, T-REX creates significant investment opportunities across $500 billion in new assets every year, benefitting developers, originators, investment banks, rating agencies, accounting firms and investors.
T-REX provides the robust financial infrastructure needed to facilitate investment in high yield but traditionally riskier esoteric markets. Macquarie’s expertise and network, combined with R/GA’s franchise-building services, makes the Studio an ideal platform for us to accelerate our growth and global footprint.
