The Risk Management Group is an independent, central unit responsible for ensuring all risks across Macquarie are appropriately assessed and managed.
Its functions include credit, prudential, capital and markets, market risk, operational risk, compliance, quantitative applications, internal audit and data policy.
We offer a number of postgraduate placements each year along with summer internships for students in their penultimate year of study. We are committed to promoting and supporting career development in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
As a postgraduate, you may work as an analyst to develop a range of expertise and a better knowledge of financial markets.

Summer internship program
Our summer internship program runs for 10 weeks. You will have the opportunity to carry out a variety of tasks including research, analysis and reporting of risks across the organization.
You have the opportunity to work with some of the most talented people in the risk management industry and gain valuable on-the-job experience.
Summer interns are also invited to participate in training and information sessions with peers across Macquarie Group. These include a job-specific induction, a number of lunch and learn sessions, and social networking events.
