Macquarie Asset Management has today announced the appointment of Gabriele Duesberg as a Managing Director to support its activities in environmental and energy transition infrastructure in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
Gabriele’s appointment will assist Macquarie Asset Management in its efforts to transform the region’s infrastructure landscape to better meet the environmental and decarbonisation needs of infrastructure providers and their consumers. Based in London, the role will see Gabriele supporting infrastructure investment and asset management activities in sectors such as the electrification of transport, waste management, and biofuels. Gabriele’s experience in the region’s energy sector will also be drawn on to assist with the decarbonisation of Macquarie Asset Management’s extensive portfolio of utilities investments in EMEA.

Gabriele joins Macquarie Asset Management following a 16-year career with J.P. Morgan where she most recently led the firm’s investment banking activities in the EMEA region’s power and utilities sectors. Gabriele played a key role in building J.P. Morgan’s energy franchise in the region, supporting clients with major transactions across the renewable energy, power, and utilities sectors.
