Macquarie Asset Management today announced the expansion of its Wealth business with the appointment of three industry veterans: Crista Demasi, Head of U.S. Strategic Relationships Group; Debra Probst, Global Head of Wealth Channel Marketing; and Danielle Hickey, Director of Platform Development, Private Markets Solutions. These strategic hires underscore the firm’s commitment to delivering alternative investment capabilities to wealth investors. In addition to the new hires, Macquarie Asset Management has announced a partnership with iCapital to offer wealth advisors and their high-net-worth clients access to alternative investment opportunities in private infrastructure, which until now have been available only to a predominantly institutional audience.
In her role as Head of U.S. Strategic Relationships Group, Crista will focus on client engagement around Macquarie Asset Management’s proprietary private infrastructure and energy capabilities across equity and debt, helping to deliver differentiated solutions to strategic partners. With over 30 years of experience in financial services, Crista joins Macquarie Asset Management from Invesco, where she served as Head of Strategic Accounts for the Wires and Global Banks. Her extensive industry knowledge and client-centric approach will be instrumental in advancing the firm’s distribution strategy.
As Global Head of Wealth Channel Marketing, Debra will lead integrated marketing efforts to elevate Macquarie Asset Management’s investment capabilities and strengthen engagement with wealth audiences across key global distribution channels. She joins the firm following a 30-year tenure at PGIM Investments, most recently serving as the Global Head of Client Marketing. Her leadership experience includes roles in strategic communications and product marketing, as well as client service positions.
As Director of Platform Development for Private Markets Solutions, Danielle will expand Macquarie’s fintech and digital distribution partnerships, integrating private markets access across next-generation advisor platforms. She will also lead outreach to investment research and due diligence professionals at major wealth management firms. Danielle brings over 20 years of experience in alternative investments. She joins from Nuveen, where she led private market solutions marketing and broadened syndication across broker-dealers, RIAs, banks, and fintech platforms.

Crista Demasi is Head of U.S. Strategic Relationships Group for Macquarie Asset Management. She is responsible for managing strategic partnerships and client engagement across energy and infrastructure investment capabilities. Crista has more than 30 years of experience in financial services, previously serving as Head of Strategic Accounts for the Wires and Global Banks at Invesco. Prior to Invesco, she was a senior strategic account manager at Janus Capital Group, Dreyfus, and Goldman Sachs Asset Management. Crista earned a BA degree in political science from Trinity College.
Debra Probst – Global Head of Wealth Channel Marketing, Macquarie Asset Management
Debra Probst is Global Head of Wealth Channel Marketing for Macquarie Asset Management. She is responsible for leading integrated marketing efforts across global distribution channels. Debra brings over 30 years of experience in financial services, most recently serving as Global Head of Client Marketing at PGIM Investments. Her career includes leadership roles in strategic communications, product marketing, and client service. Debra earned a BA degree from Seton Hall University.
Danielle Hickey – Director of Platform Development, Private Markets Solutions, Macquarie Asset Management
Danielle Hickey is Director of Platform Development, Private Markets Solutions for Macquarie Asset Management. She is responsible for expanding fintech and digital distribution partnerships and engaging investment research and due diligence professionals. Danielle brings over 20 years of experience in alternative investments, having previously led private market solutions marketing at Nuveen, where she broadened syndication across broker-dealers, RIAs, banks, and fintech platforms. Danielle has built a strong career fostering trusted partnerships, driving revenue growth, and delivering investment solutions to sophisticated institutions and wealth platforms. Danielle earned an MBA from NYU’s Stern School of Business.
