Macquarie Investment Management appoints Gillian Evans as head of UK institutional distribution

Macquarie Investment Management (MIM), part of the asset management arm of Macquarie Group, has appointed Gillian Evans as Head of UK Institutional Distribution, based in London.
Gillian joins Macquarie after 10 years at Goldman Sachs Asset Management, where she was responsible for building long term relationships with institutional clients and their advisers. Prior to this, Gillian spent four years at Insight Investment in London, having begun her career with roles at Macquarie and Permanent Trustee in Sydney, Australia.
Head of Distribution for MIM EMEA, Steve Haswell, said: "Gillian will be an excellent addition to the team as we continue to build out our capabilities in the UK, Europe and Middle East. With more than 17 years experience in investment management, MIM will benefit from her wealth of knowledge and experience in this market and abroad."
