Macquarie Investment Management appoints Peter Douvos as head of EMEA Consultant Relations

Macquarie Investment Management (MIM), part of the investment management arm of Macquarie Group, has appointed Peter Douvos as Head of EMEA Consultant Relations, based in London.
Peter joins Macquarie from Invesco Asset Management, where he was responsible for consultant relations during his seven years with the firm. Prior to that Peter held sales roles for UBS Global Asset Management (UK), Standard Bank (South Africa) and Fedsure Life (South Africa).
Head of Distribution for MIM EMEA, Steve Haswell, said: “With more than 15 years experience in sales, working for investment firms in both South Africa and the United Kingdom, Peter brings valuable insights and experience to MIM.
“In addition to leading consultant relations in the EMEA region, Peter will work with MIM colleagues in other locations to coordinate our relationships with the global consultants that are vital to our business,” commented Steve.
