Macquarie Capital broadens technology, media and telecom practice with new senior hire

- Scott Bruckner joins Macquarie Capital’s U.S. TMT Group as a Senior Managing Director
- Broadens coverage and deepens capabilities of U.S. TMT platform
Macquarie Capital, the corporate advisory, principal investing and capital markets arm of Macquarie Group (“Macquarie”) (ASX: MQG; ADR: MQBKY), today announced the appointment of Scott Bruckner as Senior Managing Director in its U.S. Technology, Media & Telecom Group (“TMT”) for Macquarie Capital in New York, effective immediately.
Mr. Brucker brings more than 20 years of investment banking experience with a specific focus on origination and execution of advisory mandates including capital raising, M&A and restructuring for technology and telecom clients. He joins Macquarie from Perella Weinberg Partners, where he led the Global Technology Banking Group and built a global team across North America and Europe.

Prior to Perella Weinberg, Mr. Bruckner spent 10 years with Morgan Stanley, most recently as Co-Head of the European Technology Banking Group. Mr. Bruckner led advisory mandates for one of Europe’s leading communications and technology investment banking practices, with coverage responsibility for key technology clients and technology and communications-focused financial sponsors.
Mr. Brucker received his Ph.D. and M.A. from the University of California, Los Angeles and his B.A. from the University of Southern California.
