Macquarie Funds Group (MFG), the asset management arm of Macquarie Group, has launched three new funds under its UCITS III compliant Luxembourg SICAV umbrella fund, Macquarie Fund Solutions. The funds are:
The three funds are intended for public distribution in multiple European and Asian jurisdictions. Currently, the funds are available for public distribution in Luxembourg, Germany, Austria and Switzerland and MFG is in the process of registering the funds in the UK. Other European jurisdictions are likely to follow.

The Macquarie Emerging Markets Opportunities Fund offers investors risk controlled exposure to investments arising from growth in emerging markets economies through an actively managed emerging markets equity strategy. The Fund is long only and investment decisions are driven by top-down systemic macro analysis combined with bottom-up country and sector allocation. The Fund is benchmarked to the MSCI Emerging Markets Index. The lead portfolio manager of the fund is David Dali. Mr. Dali is a Division Director and a senior Portfolio Manager within Macquarie Funds Group. Mr. Dali was a founding principal of Globalis Investments, LLC (which was acquired by Macquarie Group in October 2008) and has over 19 years of Emerging Markets investment experience.
The Macquarie and Rogers™ China Agriculture Fund offers investors the opportunity to access the performance of the Macquarie and Rogers™ China Agriculture Index (Bloomberg: MARCAITR Index). The Macquarie and Rogers™ China Agriculture Index is an investable index comprised of agricultural commodities tracked via exchange traded futures on physical commodities. The index is differentiated from other commodity indices by focusing purely on China’s consumption of agricultural commodities. The fund follows a passive investment strategy by tracking the index itself and the exposure to the index is managed by the global Fixed Income, Currencies and Commodities Asset Management team of Macquarie Funds Group.
