About the programme
The Returner Programme is an opportunity for you to re-integrate yourself into the financial services sector.
Commencing 4 November 2019, you will work full-time over the 20 week programme, gaining valuable experience and insight into your chosen business area.
After an in-depth induction, you’ll be working closely with the team enabling you to work on projects that match your skills and experience.

As part of this paid 20 week programme based in London, you will be paired with a mentor to help guide your re-entry to the workplace, receive coaching to aid your return to work, get additional support for any external activities such as child and elder care and be eligible to be considered for a permanent role at the end of the programme.

Meet our returners
After many years in the City (of London), I decided to take a career break in late 2013, to spend more time with my two children as my eldest was transitioning to senior school.
By the summer of 2016, I felt more than ready to come back to work but I was unsure of where to start. I went online, saw that Macquarie were embarking on their inaugural Returner programme and decided to submit an application. From the first experience at the Macquarie welcome presentation from the CEO of EMEA and other members of the regional Executive Committee, I felt that something special was happening. Seeing the programme supported by so many senior leaders on the first day was testament to how much support there was for the programme.
Since then, I haven’t looked back. I love my role, work with a great group of people and am enjoying being at work more than ever. There is something very special about Macquarie. Its flat structure encourages each and every employee to seek opportunities for themselves and for the business.
