Macquarie Income Preferred Securities

Macquarie Income Preferred Securities (MIPS) were redeemed on 22 June 2015.

The MIPS were Tier 1 eligible hybrid securities issued by a special purpose partnership controlled by entities within the Macquarie Group.

The MIPS were quoted on the Luxembourg Stock Exchange (LUX) under the code ‘XS0201559811’. They were originally listed on 22 September 2004.

MIPS were fixed rate hybrid equity instruments that paid a coupon of 6.177 per cent per annum.

The MIPS paid semi-annual non-cumulative distributions in arrears on:

  • 15 April
  • 15 October
