Developing young leaders in Brazil with Instituto Four

Recognising that many people around the world face systemic barriers to employment, our funding focuses on breaking down these barriers and building effective pathways to economic security.

In this video, learn more about Instituto Four and our strategic grant partnership with the organisation that honors the legacy of the late Hitoshi Castro, who was a leader at Macquarie for nearly 30 years.

This grant to Instituto Four marks Macquarie’s first employment-focused grant in Brazil and will:

  • fund two scholarships to participate in Instituto Four programming
  • establish an annual award to recognize an outstanding student in honour of Mr. Hitoshi Castro
  • provide seed funding to Instituto Four to establish their endowment.

This is the Macquarie Group Foundation’s first economic-mobility-based grant in Brazil, illustrating our continued commitment to building a better future in the country.
