Runs on the board for Macquarie Tokyo

Tokyo, 28 November 2013

Macquarie Tokyo came out in force for the annual FIT (Financial Institutions in Tokyo) for Charity event in November, contributing ¥1.7 million to support eight local charities. More than 50 staff and their families from the Tokyo office came together at the National Olympic Stadium to participate in the 5 and 10 kilometre runs, the 2.5 kilometre walk and the Kids' Sprint. Excitement reached a peak for the intercompany relay where two Macquarie teams were up against 39 other financial institutions, making it a competitive event!

Organiser Miki Edelman, from Macquarie Securities Tokyo, said the beautiful autumn weather, fitness aspect and community support combined to make it a great day out for the team.
