Po Leung Kuk Hong Kong has unveiled ‘Pitch Perfect’ – a brand new multi-purpose pitch which was transformed from unused and derelict tennis courts, using funds raised from a Corporate 7’s fundraising rugby event.
The pitch is designed to benefit children supported by Po Leung Kuk and in surrounding communities. Po Leung Kuk provides support services to disadvantaged children through orphanages and educational facilities.
Macquarie Hong Kong and Savills spearheaded the fundraising to bring the project to fruition, with 16 additional companies taking part. They were supported by the Hong Kong Rugby Football Union, the Foreign Correspondents’ Club and Po Leung Kuk.
Macquarie’s Hong Kong staff provide a range of support to Po Leung Kuk, including a mentoring program for college students, volunteering with its elderly rehabilitation home and regular fundraising.
