Macquarie Group Emerging Artist Prize

The Macquarie Group Collection has been supporting emerging Australian artists for more than thirty-five years. The Collection's annual Emerging Artist Prize offers support to a new generation of Australian visual artists.

Artists are invited to enter one original work that reflects the Macquarie Group Collection theme, The Land and Its Psyche.

The associated exhibition will be held in The Art Space a new public gallery opening in Macquarie's new global headquarters in Sydney later this year. The exhibition will also be available for viewing online.

2024 Macquarie Group Emerging Artist Prize

The 2024 Macquarie Group Emerging Artist Prize is now open for entries. Eligible artists are welcome to enter one original work that relates to the Macquarie Group Collection theme, The Land and Its Psyche. There is no entry fee. 

Finalists' art will be displayed in the 2024 Macquarie Group Emerging Artist Prize exhibition in Sydney. The winner will receive $A20,000 prize money. Each finalist will also receive a $A1,000 art transport voucher from International Art Services.

100 per cent of proceeds from the sale of their work goes directly to the artist.
