Regionally headquartered in London, Macquarie’s presence in Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) spans 17 locations across 11 markets.
Since opening the first office in London in 1989, Macquarie has grown significantly in the region to become the world's largest infrastructure manager, the UK’s largest smart meter funder with nine million meters and one of the largest risk management providers in the European Gas market.
Since Macquarie’s acquisition of the Green Investment Group in 2017, we have created one of Europe’s largest teams of dedicated green investors and since 2010, have led £15 billion of investment into the UK low carbon economy.
With more than 1,900 employees, EMEA is Macquarie’s smallest region by number of people but second largest by total income.
