"Ben is an experienced analyst, whose deep sector knowledge - particularly in internet and interactive media companies - completes Macquarie’s comprehensive US TMT coverage, said Phil Cusick, Managing Director and Head of US TMT research. "His appointment will bring complementary experience in a key sector vertical for Macquarie and continues our commitment to providing specialist sector coverage globally."

Thomas White, also previously at Gleacher & Co. and UBS Investment Bank, will join Macquarie as an Analyst and will work alongside Mr. Schachter within the US TMT research team on the internet sector.
