Fashion with compassion for young women in need

A fashion parade hosted by Macquarie Group and featuring some of Australia’s most high-profile designers raised much needed funds for vulnerable young women in Cambodia.

In partnership with a Macquarie staff organising committee, community organisation Lotus Outreach Australia raised over $85,000 to educate and assist girls at risk of child labour and trafficking.

The sold-out show at Macquarie’s flagship Sydney office saw a selection of renowned designers lend their talents, with collections from Ginger & SmartCamilla and MarcCarla ZampattiWe Are KindredMoss & SpyRebecca Vallance and several international designers from Curve displayed on professional catwalk models.

A live auction also saw additional pieces from other designers such as Dion Lee and Camilla available to the highest bidder, along with other donated experiences and products.

Journalist and style commentator Melissa Hoyer emceed, while singer Darren Percival and DJs entertained the crowd.
