Capital sourcing capabilities
In certain engagements, such as buyouts, acquisitions and recapitalizations, we have advised on all aspects of the capital structure. For these assignments, we identify sources of debt and/or equity and arrange financing for clients.
Distressed & special situations expertise
In distressed transactions, we leverage the complementary expertise of the Macquarie Restructuring and Special Situations (MRSS) group. MRSS has extensive experience representing constituencies inside or outside of a formal bankruptcy, often advising on complex situations for clients. In the past six years, our professionals have advised on approximately 400 transactions including many of the largest and high-profile corporate restructurings.
The name "Macquarie" refers to Macquarie Group and its worldwide subsidiaries, affiliates and the funds or companies that they manage.
On April 13, 2007, the Macquarie Group acquired the business of Giuliani Capital Advisors LLC. Transactions completed prior to the acquisition are identified as being completed by Giuliani Capital Advisors. Most of the professionals that worked on those transactions are now employed by Macquarie Capital (USA) Inc.
