Ben joined Macquarie Capital Securities (USA) Inc. from Harvard University, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree majoring in Social Studies. “Macquarie develops and relies upon its analysts as full fledged members of the deal team, rather than only a two year resource. This non-hierarchical environment is simultaneously relaxed and unassuming while being intensely ambitious and driven, resulting in a strong sense of team work, mutual respect and fun.If you have a good idea, don't be afraid to speak up - you will be surprised at how willing people are here to engage with your ideas on their merits, whether you are speaking to an associate, or a division head.”

“Macquarie has a tremendous reputation as derivative traders within the commodity markets. Macquarie people separate themselves from others because of their combination of tenacity and intelligence, but with a great nature about them. Even after being in the industry for 11 years, at Macquarie everyday I come to work and learn something new. Macquarie's blue print of little entrepreneurs under one organization's umbrella is perfect for an ambitious, self directed individual looking to succeed in an investment bank.”
