While I’ve only been here for a year, I feel Macquarie truly stands by its philosophy “freedom within boundaries”. No matter how junior you are in the team, if you are proactive you can be given a lot of responsibilities from day 1. But at the same time, there are constantly people around you willing to help out, so you would be never left without any support.

Unlike most other international banks, Macquarie is based in Sydney, so I was sent there for training last February. I had a great time during the 3-week training and was finally able to put face to the name for people that I’ve spoken on the phone on many occasions.
