When I was a college student, what attracted me the most about Macquarie were the growth opportunities at the company. In the US, Macquarie is a relatively unknown name, but it had been rapidly expanding globally. The position I applied for also presented the opportunity to rotate within different finance roles within Macquarie, so I was thrilled to be able to learn about different parts of the company.

One of the aspects of Macquarie that intrigued me before I started working here is the open floor layout, where the desks are not separated by cubicles. I think this has a big impact on Macquarie’s culture. The people at Macquarie are innovative and are better able to generate ideas through collaboration because of the layout.

At Macquarie, my team sits on the trading floor for MSG. As a result, my team collaborates both with different groups within finance as well as the business. This has enabled me to learn more about both areas.
