I first discovered Macquarie through an on-campus recruitment drive in 2003. I was immediately attracted to Macquarie because it was dynamic, entrepreneurial and fast growing.

During my first year of work I was immersed in finance and deal execution, working in small deal teams and on live transactions. I had the opportunity to work on the privatization of the Chicago Skyway toll road – a groundbreaking transaction for future infrastructure privatizations in the US. Since then, I’ve worked on transactions in various industries including electric utilities and real estate.

I am also taking advantage of a part-time Masters in Finance program that Macquarie sponsors in partnership with INSEAD. This allows me to travel in three-week increments over a three year period to INSEAD campuses in France, Singapore, Australia and elsewhere. The program is a fantastic way to complement the workplace experience.
