Since joining Macquarie, I have had the unique opportunity to work on deals in the hedge fund, private equity and venture capital spaces. Within the first few months of joining the Funds Group, I was sitting in on presentations from public and private asset managers.  Along with meeting some of the smartest individuals in the financial world, I have been able to get involved in the establishment and launch of specialized private equity and hedge funds.

I decided to join Macquarie after researching the opportunities that could be made available to me and experiencing the work culture through meeting Macquarie staff. Macquarie’s combination of a global reach and entrepreneurial spirit appealed to me and I see it in action every day. The firm’s hands-on approach and flat management structure have allowed me to rapidly learn deal lifecycles and contribute in meaningful ways. I have even had the opportunity to work in both the Sydney and New York offices. Macquarie is definitely a place where the people care about both your personal and professional goals. As a recent college graduate, I could not have imagined a more involved and fulfilling experience.
