I work as a quantitative modeler in the gas structuring team. I structure, model and price the transportation and storage deals coming from originators or/and traders.  My work requires both commercial understanding of the energy market which I gain gradually from day to day learning and mathematics and programming skills.

I experience challenges every day: how to better structure a new deal, how to more effectively present ideas to traders and explain models and numbers to them, how to improve the current pricing model, and etc. Challenges are everywhere. Getting through them is how I learn and grow.

Macquarie is unique because of its diversity and its fusion of American and Australian cultures. Since Macquarie is such a big international organization, it always has people moving around from different offices, either short-term or long-term. I find it very exciting and horizon-opening to meet and talk with these new people. As a recent graduate, I desire the continuous knock of different thoughts and views which help me build mine.
