I was attracted to Macquarie because of its phenomenal rate of growth in the US. As the organization continues to expand in various markets across the Americas, its Finance Division must grow and develop alongside it. This constantly changing environment has given me the opportunity to gain exposure to many different aspects of Macquarie.

In the time that I have been at Macquarie, I have been involved in a variety of finance projects including being part of the team that integrated the finance function on a principal asset acquisition made by the Real Estate Group, as well as providing the legal entity control function for the Futures trading business. New projects and new entities through acquisition and growth are constant at Macquarie which ensures that the work is diverse and constantly evolving.

Relationship building is extremely important within the Finance Division. Strong relationships with regulators, auditors, consultants and other Finance Division members around the globe enable us to better service our internal clients. This emphasis on relationship development is very much encouraged at Macquarie, and has given me the opportunity to travel to other Macquarie offices and projects in the US, Australia, Brazil and Hong Kong.
