As a Senior Credit Analyst, I get exposure to a wide variety of transactions and look at everything from trading businesses, corporate lending and property finance as well as equity investments. Recently I’ve been involved in analyzing and restructuring the debt and principal equity components of a large scale golf and residential community. Getting to the stage where I understood all areas of the deal and was in a position to assess the risks was a great challenge. I also worked on the Duquesne Light acquisition, analyzing the equity investment from a risk management perspective and analyzing the hedging that Macquarie provides to Duquesne.

In RMG I work closely with our different businesses, which gives me a good insight into the many career paths available at Macquarie. I am continually exposed to and learn new things, which is the greatest thrill of working in RMG. My development is supported by a number of training courses available to aid career progression. My role continues to expand, and I have already had the opportunity to travel extensively and work in Sydney and New York.
