I was most attracted to Macquarie’s by its international presence, but the company’s rapid and consistent growth in the US and its expansion into various areas of business were of equal importance.

My major responsibilities include looking after fees for Macquarie Capital Advisers, providing accounting support to the broader businesses, monthly reconciliations as well as various ad hoc projects. I have also had the opportunity to provide accounting support for some of our big deals, which has been really interesting and a great learning opportunity due to the complexity of each deal.

What I like best about Macquarie is the people. Having so many highly qualified professionals from all around the world to learn from has been great. I am keen to continue my education and acquire a CA, and the great thing about Macquarie is they will support me to reach that goal.
