Since I joined Macquarie, I’ve worked on three transactions in three different sectors that presented me with unique challenges. Each transaction allowed me to expand different components of my skill set and encouraged me to consider business problems in different ways.

Although the transmission and distribution business is a sector within which Macquarie has extensive experience, the Duquesne Light Holdings transaction involved the takeover of a public company by public market capitalized funds. Evaluating the transaction from this perspective added additional complexity and challenges to the transaction as well as providing unique capital markets insight.

What I enjoy most about working at Macquarie is the diversity of experience – both functional and industry-wise. Macquarie offers continued skills enhancement, mentorship and international transfer opportunities, all of which enhance the superior practical business experience Macquarie provides.
