Our Information Technology Group (ITG) is responsible for managing technology infrastructure, supporting, maintaining and enhancing business systems, delivering and deploying new systems, technologies and services, and ensuring that all required technical hardware, software and support is provided to staff.

Macquarie's server platforms are a mix of UNIX and Wintel, with the development work for the business carried out predominantly using Java, C++, Smalltalk and Powerbuilder. A large proportion of our Account Team utilizes OO design and development methodologies. Macquarie’s database environment is largely Sybase, SQL Server and Lotus Notes.

We employ a broad range of specialists within the Information Technology Group, including:
