Fixed Income, Currencies and Commodities (FICC)Fixed Income, Currencies and Commodities provides a variety of services across the globe with an underlying specialisation in interest rate, commodity or foreign exchange related institutional trading, marketing, lending, clearing or platform provision. The predominant FICC client base is financial institutions and significant commodity producers and consumers. With structuring, sales and trading professionals in the Australia, New Zealand, the Americas, Canada, Asia and the Middle East, FICC offers quality service and risk management solutions to meet our clients’ needs. What might I be doing as a Graduate within FICC?Graduates joining FICC may be offered a diverse range of roles including Junior Traders, Risk Analysts, Junior Sales Analysts, and Structuring Analysts. All roles provide real experience and training in a dynamic trading floor environment. Our graduate induction program provides ongoing training and graduates are given access to professional development programs both in Australia and offshore. You’ll work alongside senior staff and be provided with strong mentoring, guidance and development. The exciting and dynamic nature of the global markets will see you working in a fast paced, energetic environment with strong exposure to local and international opportunities. What might I be doing as an Intern within FICC?The Fixed Income, Currencies and Commodities Summer Internship Program offers a unique opportunity to gain ‘hands on’ experience on a live trading floor. Through our program, you are offered the opportunity to gain exposure across a number of our businesses including Energy Markets, Foreign Exchange, Metals and Energy Capital, and Agricultural Commodities, as well as the functions that support the trading floor including Market Risk and Legal. You will work alongside traders, sales analysts, structurers, legal and risk specialists, helping you to helping you to understand the roles and responsibilities that exist across the trading floor environment. |
