Largest ever semiconductor equipment operating lease completed in Taiwan
SAN DIEGO, September 5, 2006 — Macquarie Electronics today announced the completion of a US$220 million operating lease transaction with ProMOS Technologies Inc. in Taiwan. The transaction was completed in NTD and involved leading edge, 200mm, semiconductor manufacturing equipment located in ProMOS Technologies’ state of the art FAB 1 facility in the Hsinchu Science Park, Taiwan. The transaction is the largest ever semiconductor equipment operating lease completed in Taiwan.
