Agricultural commodities

Macquarie is an international leader in providing price risk management solutions for producers, consumers, trade participants and investors in the agricultural commodity business.

Energy

Macquarie offers risk management and financing solutions in energy products (specifically oil, oil products and natural gas) to its corporate customers spread over three geographies - Europe, Asia and North America.

Energy Capital

Macquarie provides debt and equity capital for the oil and gas industry. We target US domestic and international opportunities and invest at the corporate and project level including: oil and gas borrowing base revolvers; structured and project finance; mezzanine and subordinated debt; and equity capital. We also offer tailored commodity price risk management solutions to our energy customers.

Debt Markets

Macquarie originates, places and trades principally $A and $NZ debt and provides interest rate risk management and structuring services.

Futures

Futures and options trading services are provided to institutional clients throughout Europe.

Futures Clearing

Macquarie facilitates premium global clearing services to institutional clients. Through direct memberships and agent relationships, we are able to service products across all major derivatives exchanges throughout the world.

Metals and Mining

Macquarie Metals and Mining offers 24-hour price-making facilities for base and precious metals and financing and structured hedging facilities for metals projects. The base metals business focuses on servicing a wide variety of producers, consumers and trader customers throughout Europe, the Americas and Asia.

The precious metals business retains its position as a leading banker to the Australian gold mining industry while actively being involved in projects and hedging around the globe.
