 Mark Rushton

Mark Rushton

Title: Business Analyst, Macquarie Capital (MacCap Advisers)
Joined Macquarie: 2006

Mark studied Manufacturing Engineering at Cambridge University and joined Macquarie through the 2006 Graduate Recruitment Scheme.

Since joining Mark has been working in the Metals and Mining Resources team and as an Analyst spends much of his time researching companies and accompanying markets in order to advise multi-national companies of investor opportunities.

 Anneli Dubois-Bary

Anneli Dubois-Bary

Nationality: French
Title: Executive, Macquarie Capital (MacCap Advisers, Transport)
Joined Macquarie: 2005

Anneli joined Macquarie in 2005 after graduating from ESCP-EAP with a Masters in Business Management. Since joining Macquarie Anneli has worked on several acquisitions and PPP projects, advising external clients as well as Macquarie's investment funds. Anneli is responsible for company valuation and will liaise with lenders and external advisors to coordinate the due diligence process.

"Macquarie has also offered me the opportunity to learn fast and get a wide exposure to the business through a diverse range of responsibilities, more involvement in project management and decision-making processes. For the past two years, I have worked with four different teams. This strong mobility has been encouraged by my managers in order to further develop my set of skills and fulfil myself professionally."


 Kim Nguyen

Kim Nguyen

Nationality: Australian
Title: Business Analyst, Macquarie Capital  (MacCap Funds)
Joined Macquarie: 2006

Kim graduated from Sydney University with a Bachelor of Finance and Law and joined Macquarie through its graduate programme in Sydney. In 2007 Kim came to the London office and joined the Macquarie European Infrastructure Fund. Working of the acquisition of Airwave Kim has been involved with subsequent transition management. Working within the funds Kim has extensive exposure to both management and business operations.

 Matthew Gregory

Matthew Gregory

Nationality: Australian
Title: Manager, Equity Markets Group (Global Equity Finance & Structuring)
Joined Macquarie: 2004

Matt joined Macquarie's Sydney office in 2004. In 2006 he transferred to the London office where he now works as a trader with the Global Equity Finance and Structuring division within the Equity Markets Group. Matt's role is to offer clients the opportunity to enhance their return on various equity positions. In addition his team also provides market access products to clients through various equity structures. His role incorporates everything from client relationship management to research and actual trading itself.

 Laura McMullen

Laura McMullen

Title: Business Analyst, Macquarie Capital (MacCap Funds)
Joined Macquarie: 2006

Laura joined Macquarie in 2006 through the graduate programme. Laura studied Psychology and Physiology at St Edmund Hall, Oxford University and now works within Macquarie's Investment Banking Group. Laura works on the portfolio team within the Funds division for the Macquarie European Infrastructure Fund. She is responsible for collating, analysing and utilising various information from all the infrastructure assets in both MEIF I and MEIF II. Further duties include compiling reports and analysis on the individual assets, as well as researching new opportunities, with the option to get involved in transactions.

"More flexible, relaxed and informal than other banks, the flat management structure is a great advantage, allowing new recruits exposure to high level directors and their thinking which helps you progress faster. And the people are a lot of fun!"


 Yuki Omura

Yuki Omura

Nationality: Swiss/Japanese
Title: Associate, Risk Management Group (Compliance)
Joined Macquarie: 2006

Yuki joined Macquarie's Risk Management Group in 2003 after studying a BSc in Psychology and an MA in Diplomacy at the University of Nottingham. Yuki acts as the main point of contact for day - to - day Anti-Money Laundering issues in the EMEA region. He ensures that all the necessary checks have been conducted on potential customers and clients throughout all of Macquarie's business groups. Yuki's role requires him to ensure he is aware of all industry regulations and obligations and any changes that occur.

 Erik Petersson

Erik Petersson

Nationality: Swedish
Title: Senior Manager, Treasury & Commodities Group (Energy Markets Division)
Joined Macquarie: 2005

Erik joined the Energy Markets desk at Macquarie in 2005. He currently spends most of his time focusing on structuring/marketing/trading energy derivatives solutions to European Energy consumers/producers. Erik graduated from the London School of Economics with a BSc in Accounting and Finance.

 Michael Doyle

Michael Doyle

Nationality: Australian
Title: Senior Manager, Equity Markets Group (Alternative Strategies Division)
Joined Macquarie: 2004

Michael joined Macquarie in 2004 as a graduate after participating in the 2002 summer internship programme in Sydney.  Michael later relocated to London in 2006 and now works in the Alternative Strategies Group. Michael works in the Alternative Strategies Group (a joint venture between the Equity Markets Group and Macquarie Capital) in London as a principal arbitrage trader focussing on the emerging markets.

 Jason Joannou

Jason Joannou

Nationality: British/American
Title: Investor Products Sales, Treasury & Commodities Group (Agricultural Commodities & Investor Products)
Joined Macquarie: 2006

Jason studied International relations and Finance and Duke University. He joined Macquarie in 2006 and currently works with the Treasury and Commodities Group. Working within the Investor Products team, Jason covers Switzerland, Scandinavia, France and Benelux. He is responsible for developing commodity and hybrid (multi asset) structured products for investors such as retail banks, private banks, hedge funds, pension and insurance companies.

 Richard Greenleaf

Richard Greenleaf

Title: Executive, Macquarie Capital (MacCap Advisers, Utilities)
Joined Macquarie: 2004

Richard joined the Utilities team at Macquarie in London from Nottingham University where he read mathematics.  Since joining he has been a key member of teams that have successfully advised Macquarie managed funds on acquisitions in the Dutch gas and electricity distribution sector and the German oil tank storage sector.
