Graduate Training
Macquarie will provide you with a comprehensive training program and will ensure you have all of the support that you require to reach your full potential.
All graduates will attend a first week induction programme which will help you better understand our culture and values and the financial services sector. In addition you will also attend business group specific and technical workshops to develop your understanding of the area you will be working within and the job that you will be doing.
Beyond this induction your training programme will depend on which business group you are joining. Some groups may require you to travel to our head office in Sydney, Australia to take part in a professional development programme. You will also receive significant on-the-job training specific to your role.
Intern Training
As an intern you will be provided with a true insight in to the financial services sector. You will spend the first week attending a comprehensive training and orientation course which will allow you to contribute significantly during your placement. At the conclusion of the programme graduate offers will be made to interns who demonstrate the aptitude for a career with Macquarie.
Further Education
Macquarie encourages all of its people to pursue further study to advance their career. In most instances Macquarie will offer financial support and study leave, allowing employee’s to develop both their career and academic capabilities.
Macquarie also offers a Master of Finance (Investment Banking) degree from INSEAD – a world-leading business school. Unique to the investment banking industry, this post-graduate degree has been designed jointly by Macquarie and INSEAD and tailored specifically to a career in investment advisory. It includes residential on-campus study at INSEAD’s European and Asian campuses as well as in Australia and the US.
