How we inspire leadership

Macquarie has grown rapidly in recent years but we have never lost sight of who we are and what makes us different.

We have a unique culture and a strong core philosophy which we believe promote and inspire genuine leadership. At the heart of our success is a belief in freedom within boundaries.  This means we exert strict central control over a small number of key standards. But, within that tight risk management framework, individual businesses and teams within Macquarie have the freedom to think creatively, use their ingenuity and pursue their ideas.

We will support good ideas to fruition, however unusual they may first appear. This creates a sense of ownership and entrepreneurial endeavour which has led to a history of innovation when good ideas have become great businesses.
