Macquarie has more than 240 dedicated professionals working in the corporate advisory area in Asia (as of March 2006), with offices in Bangkok, Beijing, Hong Kong, Jakarta, Kuala Lumpur, Labuan, Manila, Mumbai, New Delhi, Singapore, Seoul, Shanghai, Taipei, and Tokyo. We have a team of five people based in Malaysia and almost 60 based in Singapore.
Our activities in Malaysia include:
- coordinating and advising on a wide range of equity capital market transactions including local and international initial public offerings, rights issues, sell downs, placements, buybacks and hybrid securities
- coordinating and advising on large asset financings. Key areas of expertise include project and infrastructure finance transactions, cross-border leasing and structured finance
- providing tailored strategic and financial advice to corporate and public sector clients on takeovers/defences, mergers and acquisitions, divestments, privatisations, and corporate restructuring
