The Erie Shores Wind Farm consists of 66*** General Electric SLE1.5 wind turbines/generators. The electrical energy generated by the wind turbines is collected and delivered by 34.5kV collection lines, which ultimately deliver the power to the Port Burwell substation. At the substation, the voltage is increased to 115 kV for delivery to the Ontario transmission grid.
