The Social and Public Infrastructure (SPI) team

Managing and investing in social and public infrastructure assets, including those delivered through Public Private Partnerships (PPP), is a key focus for Macquarie. We partner with leading technical sponsors on the projects we undertake and bring extensive knowledge and experience in financial structuring and transaction management.

The 30-strong SPI team has been pre-eminent in European PPP infrastructure for more than 10 years and is renowned for structuring innovative value-for-money financial solutions. Our PPP experience encompasses equity and debt funding, capital markets, derivatives and financial structuring. We have closed more than 40 PPP projects with a combined value exceeding €10.5 billion.
