1. How do I obtain information about Macquarie International Infrastructure Fund?

Information can be accessed directly through MIIF’s website and from the Singapore Stock Exchange website at www.sgx.com.sg.

2. Does Macquarie International Infrastructure Fund have a product disclosure statement (PDS)?

MIIF does not have a PDS however it does have a prospectus which can be downloaded from the Investor Centre in MIIF’s website.

3. When was the initial public offering (IPO) of Macquarie International Infrastructure Fund?

MIIF went public on 27 May 2005.

4. What is Macquarie International Infrastructure Fund company's stock symbol?

MIIF’s stock symbol is M41.

5. How do I invest in Macquarie International Infrastructure Fund?

MIIF is listed on the main board of the Singapore Exchange Securities Trading Limited (SGX), and therefore MIIF stock can be purchased through any Singapore registered broker.

7. When does Macquarie International Infrastructure Fund pay dividends?

MIIF's dividend policy is based on the expected predictable and stable operating cash flows from its investments. MIIF intends to pay out, as dividends to its shareholders, the majority of its operating cash available for distribution and not to retain significant cash balances in excess of prudent reserves.

Dividends from MIIF are currently paid six monthly relating to the June and December half years. The June dividend is paid in September and the December distribution in March.

8. What is MIMAL and what role does it play?

MIMAL is the acronym for Macquarie Infrastructure Management (Asia) Pty Limited. MIMAL is the sole and exclusive manager of MIIF, subject to a management agreement dated 19 May 2005.

9. How do I change my personal details for my shares held in physical share certificates or deposited with the Central Depository (Pte) Limited?

If your shares are held in the form of physical share certificates and you have queries about your security holder details, or wish to change your details, please contact MIIF’s share registry, M & C Services, on +65 6228 0530. If your shares are deposited with the Central Depository (Pte) Limited you should contact the CDP on +65 6535 7511 for any queries that you may have.

10. What is the Scrip Dividend Scheme (SDS)? 

The SDS will provide an opportunity for MIIF shareholders to make an election to receive dividend in the form of shares instead of cash.

11.  Who is eligible for participation in the SDS? Are overseas shareholders eligible for participation in the SDS?  

For practical reasons and to avoid any violation of securities laws applicable in countries outside Singapore where shareholders may have their registered addresses, the SDS is not currently offered to overseas shareholders. Please refer to paragraph 4.6 of the 22 October 2007 Circular to Shareholders for a more detailed description.

12.  How do I participate in the SDS?  

Participation in the SDS is optional. A shareholder wishing to receive new shares in respect of any qualifying dividend or to make a permanent election to receive new shares in respect of all future qualifying dividends to which a Notice of Election received by the shareholder relates should complete the Notice of Election and return it to MIIF at the address indicated on the Notice of Election or, if the shareholder is a depositor, to the Central Depository.

13.  How is the issue price of a share under the SDS determined?

It is the amount in Singapore dollars, determined by the MIIF Directors, which shall not be set at more than 10% discount to the arithmetic average of the daily volume weighted average price of a MIIF share on the Singapore Exchange Securities Trading Limited during the period of 5 market days immediately following the books closure date.

14. When will the SDS shares be issued?  

At or about each dividend payment date. 

15.  Will the shares that I receive from the SDS be taxed? 

As individual circumstances and laws vary considerably, shareholders should obtain specific taxation advice if required. MIIF takes no responsibility for the taxation liabilities of participating shareholders or the tax consequences of any election made by shareholders.

Without prejudice to the foregoing paragraph, as a general indication, however, it is understood that as at the date of the 22 October 2007 Circular to Shareholders, under the income tax legislation in Singapore, a shareholder's tax liability will not alter, nor is there any advantage to be gained, by reason of having elected to participate in the SDS.
