John Stuart Hugh Roberts

Chairman

John Roberts joined Macquarie in 1991 and is the Global Head of the Macquarie Capital Funds business. John is either on the Investment Committee or a director (or an alternate director) of the Macquarie Infrastructure Roads, Airports, Utilities, Media, Retirement and Private Equity Funds, as well as the international Singaporean, Korean, Canadian, US and European funds.

John has more than 27 years of banking and finance experience, and provides both oversight and strategic expertise to Macquarie's investment teams. Since joining Macquarie in 1991, John has held many key roles including Head of Macquarie's London office when overseeing Macquarie Capital's activities throughout Europe.

John has a Bachelor of Law degree from The University of Canterbury in New Zealand.

Heng Chiang Meng

Deputy Chairman

Heng Chiang Meng received his BBA (Hons) degree from the University of Singapore, Singapore in 1970.

From 1970 to 2004, Chiang Meng held several positions across various companies, including:

• Group chief executive officer at Lim Kah Ngam Ltd, a listed hotel, construction and property company in Singapore;
• Executive director of the Far East Organization Group, one of the largest property groups in Singapore and Hong Kong;
• Group Managing Director of First Capital Corporation Ltd, a listed property company in Singapore;
• Executive vice president at Overseas Union Bank Ltd;
• Adviser and head of banking and financial institutions at the Monetary Authority of Singapore; and
• Head of treasury at Citibank N.A. in Singapore and Hong Kong.

From 1984 through 2001, in addition to his employment in the corporate sector, Mr Heng also served as a Member of Parliament in Singapore over four terms.

Michael David Hamer

Michael Hamer received his Bachelor of Science (Hons) degree from the University of Melbourne, Australia in 1972 and a Master of Science degree in Mathematics in 1974 and a D. Phil in Mathematics and Economics in 1980 from the University of Oxford, England.

He is the president and chief executive officer of Camford Atlantic Limited, a Bermudian company providing risk management, investment and financial advice and senior analyst with Albourne Partners Ltd, a hedge fund consulting firm. He also serves as a director of Macquarie Media International Limited, a member of the Macquarie Media Group in Australia, and Applied Technology Group, an investment company in the telecommunications industry, Masterworks Foundation, an art charity; and the Bermuda Institute of Ocean Sciences, an oceanographic centre, all of which are based in Bermuda.

From 1977 to 1992, Michael worked for JP Morgan and from 1992 to the beginning of 2000 for Centre Solutions, a Bermuda-based reinsurance company, where he was most recently senior vice president responsible for risk management and asset/liability management.

Lee Suet Fern

Lee Suet Fern is the senior director of Stamford Law Corporation; her practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions, equity and debt capital markets and corporate finance. Suet Fern has been involved in many significant corporate transactions and has been named a leading practitioner in numerous professional publications.

Suet Fern is the President-Elect of the Inter-Pacific Bar Association and has been a council member of the International Bar Association. She is the Chairman of the Asian Civilisations Museum Board, a member of the National Heritage Board, a member of the Advisory Board to the Singapore Management University Law School, a trustee for Nanyang Technological University and a Fellow of the Singapore Institute of Directors. She also serves on the boards of several public listed companies.

Suet Fern graduated with a double first in law from Cambridge University in 1980 and qualified as a Barrister-at-Law at Gray’s Inn London in 1981. She was admitted to the Singapore Bar in 1982 winning the Aw Boon Haw and Aw Boon Par Memorial Prize for top candidates at the Singapore Bar examinations and the Justice Tan Ah Tah Prize for Professional Ethics.

Robert Andrew Mulderig

Rob Mulderig is chairman of the board of financial services company Woodmont Trust Company Ltd, and is chairman of the Bermudian Bank of N.T. Butterfield and Son Ltd. He is the chairman of Intoll International Limited, the Bermuda entity which is part of Intoll Group, and a director of Macquarie Atlas Roads International Limited. He is a former member of the board of governers of the Bermuda Stock Exchange, and was chairman and chief executive officer of Mutial Risk Management Ltd for 20 years until 2002. He attended Colombia University and the Fordham University School of Law.
